By using this connection scheme a client can receive data packets via satellite while sending request packets through any kind of terrestrial return channel such as Dial-up, ISDN, DSL, etc. The downlink bandwidth can be five to ten times wider than request channel's bandwidth.

 
 
 

This connection scheme allows ISPs, companies as well as home users to use SatGate Internet service. The customer can use any connection such as BGP, VPN, Static, channels. Detailed information about connection types can be found on FAQ page.

 
 
 

In order to use Simplex connection schemes you’ll need a satellite dish, LNB converter and a DVB receiver PentaMedia Pent@NET, Penta@OFFICE or TechniSat: SkyStar-1, SkyStar-2, etc. The cost of the equipment can be less than $200 depending on your location.
